The FIA has confirmed that Alpine’s Right of Review request following the Monaco Grand Prix will be heard on Thursday, as the team continues its challenge against the penalties that cost Pierre Gasly a podium finish.
Gasly crossed the line in third place in Monaco, but two penalties for pit-lane speeding dropped him to seventh. Alpine subsequently lodged a complaint over the sanctions, which were part of a wider set of similar offences identified during the race. The governing body has now issued an update, stating that Alpine’s representative must appear before the stewards on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 13:00 CEST, ahead of the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix weekend.
A document released by the FIA stated: "The team representative is required to report to the Stewards on Thursday 11th June 2026, at 13:00 CEST in relation to the above."

It added: "The hearing will be held virtually via video conference, details of which will be provided by separate communication."
The timing places the case directly into the build-up to the next race weekend, ensuring Alpine’s Monaco challenge remains a live sporting issue as the paddock turns its attention to Barcelona.
As is standard with a Right of Review, the hearing will be split into two stages. The first phase will determine whether Alpine can present what the FIA describes as a "significant and relevant new element" that was unavailable when the original decision was made.
The FIA document said this initial stage will "hear evidence and submissions from the petitioner as to whether there is a 'significant and relevant new element which was unavailable to the party seeking the review at the time of the decision concerned'."
Only if the stewards accept that threshold has been met will the matter move to a second hearing. According to the statement, that would take place "in all likelihood shortly after the first part of the hearing."
The FIA also noted that "Any other 'concerned party' may seek the permission of the Stewards to appear."
For Alpine, the consequences are significant. If the team succeeds in its challenge, Gasly’s Monaco result could be revised in a way that would restore a podium finish.
That would represent Alpine’s first podium since Brazil 2024, making Thursday’s hearing more than a procedural step. It is a potentially decisive review of one of Monaco’s key post-race outcomes.
