Racing Bulls has unveiled a special livery for this weekend’s Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, leaning fully into a football-inspired identity as the 2026 World Cup kicks off.
The design pays tribute to the tournament’s three host nations — Canada, Mexico and the USA — and forms part of a broader visual campaign from the team. Racing Bulls has not limited the concept to the car itself: the squad has also introduced a VCARB FC Barcelona Jersey and a new football-style crest, extending the crossover beyond the garage and onto a more recognisably football-driven platform.

For a team arriving in Spain with momentum, the timing gives the Barcelona weekend an added layer of visibility. The race comes at a point when attention around the paddock is already building, with the wider event context covered in our 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix preview.
Racing Bulls CEO Peter Bayer framed the activation as a meeting point between two sports with global reach and deeply invested fanbases.
"F1 and football are two global sports with incredibly passionate communities, united by a shared sense of identity, creativity and culture," Bayer said.
He added that the VCARB FC concept was designed to capture the shared energy between the disciplines.
"With VCARB FC, we're celebrating that crossover, bringing together the energy of both sports."
Bayer also underlined the role of emerging talent in shaping campaigns of this kind, presenting the project as more than a one-off visual change.
"We're also proud to give emerging talent the opportunity to help shape campaigns like this, bringing fresh perspectives that continue to push the boundaries in the world of F1."

The new look arrives with Racing Bulls buoyed by its strongest result of the season so far. Last time out in Monaco, the team secured its highest points finish of the year, with Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad crossing the line fifth and sixth respectively.
That result gives the Barcelona weekend a sharper sporting edge for Racing Bulls. The livery may be the immediate visual talking point, but the team heads to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with recent performance to reinforce the message.
In a paddock where identity, presentation and competitive credibility increasingly move together, Racing Bulls’ football-themed Barcelona package is a clear attempt to connect cultural relevance with on-track momentum.
