AIX Racing have confirmed that Ricardo Escotto will return to the team for Round 5 at Silverstone, continuing a short but important run with the squad after making his first appearance for them earlier this month in Barcelona.
The 21-year-old is set to race with AIX this weekend, marking his second round with the team. His Barcelona debut produced finishes of P22 in the Sprint Race and P23 in the Feature Race, giving him an initial competitive reference point before heading into the next event.

Silverstone now offers Escotto another opportunity to build continuity with AIX Racing. For a driver stepping into a programme mid-flow, every session becomes valuable: track time, procedural familiarity and race mileage all matter when the objective is to settle quickly and extract more from the package. The announcement also adds another junior-series storyline to the Silverstone weekend, where driver opportunities across the Formula 1 support paddock remain a key focus; for another recent Silverstone entry development, read about Chiara BĂ€ttigâs F1 ACADEMY debut as Wella Wild Card.
Escotto arrives at Silverstone with experience across several single-seater categories. Alongside his AIX Racing programme, he has also been competing this year in IndyNXT, adding to a racing background that has already taken him through multiple championships.

His earlier career includes Formula 4 appearances in the American, Spanish and UAE editions, as well as two years in USF Pro 2000. Escotto also made three appearances in Euroformula Open in 2024, further underlining the breadth of machinery and competitive environments he has sampled before returning to AIX for this latest round.
The significance of the Silverstone outing is straightforward: Escotto is no longer arriving as a complete first-timer with the team. Barcelona gave him an introduction to AIX Racingâs working methods and race-weekend rhythm; Silverstone gives him the chance to apply that experience immediately.
With Round 5 now ahead, the focus will be on progression. Escottoâs results in Barcelona provide the baseline, and his return with AIX Racing gives both driver and team another weekend to develop that partnership on track.
