The chequered flag on 2025: a note from the founders

The chequered flag on 2025: a note from the founders

To our amazing community,

As the dust settles on the Yas Marina Circuit and the world catches its breath after Lando Norris’s emotional maiden title win, we wanted to take a moment to pause, reflect, and most importantly, say thank you.

Formula Live Pulse was born from a shared frustration that we, Simone and Ciara, faced every single race weekend. We realized that Formula 1 produces over 25 million data points per race, yet as fans, we were only getting breadcrumbs. We were tired of jumping from one platform to another, trying to piece together the full story of the race. We knew we weren’t alone; with over 500 million digitally egaged fans globally, 55% of whom expect live statistics and 66% of whom already use a second screen, the hunger for a single, comprehensive hub was undeniable.

So, we decided to build it.

We launched Formula Live Pulse in March 2025 with a simple mission: to bridge the gap between the pit wall and the fan. We wanted to create a platform that speaks multiple languages and unites fans worldwide. From those early days to today, the journey has been nothing short of incredible. We’ve grown non-stop to over 30,000 users and onboarded 4 B2B partners. And perhaps the statistic we are proudest of is that we achieved this with zero marketing spend.

This growth wasn’t bought, it was built. It was built by you, the community, sharing the app in group chats, showing it to friends at watch parties, and trusting us to be your second screen.

We also want to extend a massive thank you to the content creators and partners who amplified our voice and supported us throughout this season. You are the heartbeat of the F1 internet:

  • The Meme & Community Giants: FlopGear, San Brembo, F1MemeLab, and F1WorldZone. You kept us laughing through the triple headers and connected us with passionate fans across the globe.
  • Noah Cooks F1: For bringing the energy of the next generation, proving that expertise and passion has no age limit.
  • And Away We Go F1 Podcast: For the incredible weekly conversations and for giving us a platform to unpack the season's strategy and share the FLP story.
  • Terry Widdows (@coffeecornermotorsport): For your unwavering support and "fact-first" journalism. Your journey from a shed in Worcestershire to an accredited media powerhouse inspires us daily.

Whether you used our Live Radio to feel the raw emotion of the drivers, asked our AI Companion to explain a strategy call, or just checked the Real-time Gap to see how close the battle really was, thank you. You turned a passion project into a vital part of the race weekend.

The 2025 season might be over, but for Formula Live Pulse, this is just the beginning.

Grazie mille, thank you, and see you on the grid in 2026.
