Atlassian Williams F1 Team has unveiled a one-off Union Jack-inspired livery for the FW48, forming the centrepiece of its British Grand Prix week celebrations at Silverstone.
The special design brings red, white and blue detailing across the nose cone and chassis side, giving Williams a distinctly British visual identity for its home event. It is a targeted, symbolic change rather than a full-season redesign, aimed at capturing what the team describes as the energy and spirit of Silverstone.

Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz will carry the theme beyond the car, wearing one-off race suits for the weekend. Williamsâ trackside crew will also switch into takeover kits created by New Era, the teamâs Official Team Kit Partner.
The reveal arrives as Williams shifts attention fully toward Silverstone, following a difficult recent outing for Sainz, with the teamâs next response under the spotlight after its Austrian GP retirement setback.

Williams is also extending the home-race theme to supporters, making the special edition British Grand Prix merchandise collection available through its online store. The range includes British-themed technical tees, polos, caps, a bucket hat and an oversized tee.
The livery is part of a wider programme of British GP activations designed to bring the team closer to fans across the country. From tomorrow, a Williams show car carrying the special British GP design will visit Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh and London.
London-based fans will also have access to a free-to-enter Fan Zone presented by Kraken, featuring on-stage appearances from Alex Albon, James Vowles and Damon Hill, along with partner activations and merchandise.
For Williams, Silverstone is not merely a home race; it is central to the teamâs competitive identity. The circuit hosted the teamâs first Formula 1 victory in 1979, achieved by Clay Regazzoni in the FW07, and its 100th race win in 1997 with Jacques Villeneuve.
Williams has won eight times at Silverstone, including three victories for Nigel Mansell. The team also referenced Mansellâs famous 1991 moment, when he gave Ayrton Senna a lift back on his sidepod after a dominant 42-second victory.
Team Principal James Vowles said: âWe are proud to be flying the flag for the British GP this week. From our first win to our 100th, Silverstone has played host to some of Atlassian Williams F1 Teamâs most iconic moments â and there is nothing on the F1 calendar quite like the atmosphere of the home crowd here. Whether watching in the grandstands, supporting at the Fan Zone or cheering us on from home, we really feel the energy of the fans and will be carrying it with us all weekend.â
