Antonio Felix da Costa has revealed that his intimate knowledge of former team Porsche could serve as a critical advantage in his pursuit of a second Formula E drivers' title. The Portuguese driver, who spent three seasons with the German manufacturer before moving to Jaguar for the current campaign, admits he knows "exactly" how his former colleagues think and operate.
By taking significant operational and strategic knowledge from the Weissach-based outfit to his new garage, the 34-year-old is confident that his insider perspective will bolster his championship chances with Jaguar.

Despite the mixed and often negative nature of his exit from Porsche, da Costa remains on good terms with much of the team. He is frequently seen interacting with his former colleagues in the paddock and insists he holds no lingering resentment towards the manufacturer.
As the paddock prepares for Porsche's home races this weekend at the Berlin E-Prix, the Season 6 champion made it clear that he is not driven by a desire for revenge. When asked by RacingNews365 if a part of him is eager to defeat Porsche on their home turf, da Costa was unequivocal.

"No, no, no," da Costa stressed. "Unforgiveness keeps others in control, so that's really not my thing. You know, I don't hang on to anger, not at all."
He added: "I love a lot of people in that garage [Porsche], and I spend a lot of time with them when I'm not in my race car, so it's all good â just doing my own thing, and that should be enough to piss other people off, hopefully."

While da Costa has moved past the circumstances surrounding his departure, he is fully prepared to leverage the time he spent with Porsche to his advantage.
When addressing whether knowing how Porsche operates provides a strategic edge in the current title fight, da Costa confirmed that his familiarity with their methods is a potent weapon.
"I think it can be, and I know exactly what's going on in their minds," da Costa replied. "I think the way they race has been shaped a lot by what we've learned together. So yeah, I can â let's say yes."
As the championship battle intensifies and the Formula E race weekend format unfolds, da Costa's ability to anticipate Porsche's strategic decisions could prove to be the defining factor in his quest for Formula E glory with Jaguar.
