Lewis Hamilton called Kim Kardashian's presence at the Monaco Grand Prix "amazing" after securing second place on the streets of Monte Carlo — a result that drew him level with Ayrton Senna for the most podium finishes at the iconic circuit.
The seven-time world champion claimed his eighth career podium at Monaco, matching a record held by the legendary Brazilian and one that carries enormous personal significance for Hamilton. He achieved it the hard way too, overcoming an in-race time penalty that could have derailed his afternoon, before ultimately holding on for a composed and composed P2 finish.

Kardashian, whom Hamilton has been dating since earlier this year, was present throughout the weekend in Monte Carlo. The media personality's attendance did not go unnoticed, and Hamilton was warm in his assessment of the support he received.
"It's amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support," Hamilton told media. "But with my friends, incredible turnout just overall with people. And yeah, I don't really know what else to say. It's amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day."

While the podium tally now stands equal at eight between Hamilton and Senna in Monaco, the victories column tells a different story. Hamilton has three wins at the Principality compared to Senna's six — a gap that continues to fuel the Briton's competitive drive.
When asked whether he believed he could surpass Senna's victory record at Monaco before retiring from the sport, Hamilton gave a characteristically measured but determined response.
"I've been here a long time and still haven't got to his level on that, but I'm going to be here for a while, so I'll keep chasing it. And just to be in his presence, in the sense of the eight podiums, for example, is very cool. I still remember being young and watching Ayrton, and still today he's my favourite driver. So, it's really cool."
The remarks offer a rare glimpse into the emotional weight Hamilton attaches to Monaco, a circuit where Senna's legend looms larger than anywhere else on the calendar. For Hamilton, matching that podium record is not merely a statistical milestone — it is a tribute to the man who first inspired him to race.
