Isack Hadjar is facing an imminent disqualification from the qualifying results of the Miami Grand Prix following a technical infringement discovered on his Red Bull car.
Hadjar had originally secured a solid ninth place on the grid for today’s race, but his car failed a mandatory post-session inspection. According to FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer, the floor boards on Hadjar’s challenger extended two millimetres beyond the permitted reference volume on both the left and right-hand sides.

Under the sport's strict regulatory framework, disqualification is the standard penalty for any breach of the technical rules.
The infringement comes during a critical weekend for the team. Red Bull brought an extensive upgrade package for the RB22 this weekend, which notably included revisions to its floor.

Despite the issue on Hadjar's car, it was confirmed that all other cars successfully passed the post-qualifying technical inspections. This includes the sister Red Bull of teammate Max Verstappen, who qualified second on the grid, with his floor body dimensions fully compliant with the inspections.
If Hadjar is disqualified from qualifying, he will be forced to start the race from the pit lane.
This penalty will trigger a reshuffle, with Pierre Gasly set to inherit ninth place on the starting grid. As the paddock awaits the final official ruling, the focus shifts to how Red Bull will manage the setback on a weekend where their major upgrade package was introduced.
