Ricardo Escotto will return to FIA Formula 3 action with AIX Racing for Round 6 of the season at Spa-Francorchamps, adding another chapter to a campaign in which he has already made selected appearances for the team.
The 21-year-old has previously raced for AIX Racing at Barcelona and Silverstone this season. His best result so far in those outings remains P22 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, giving him a measured benchmark as he heads into one of the most demanding stops on the Formula 3 calendar.

For AIX Racing, Escotto’s return brings continuity from his earlier appearances rather than a completely fresh integration. In a category where limited track time and compressed weekends place a premium on familiarity, that prior experience with the team gives the Spa entry a clearer foundation than a one-off debut would offer.
Escotto arrives at Spa with a broad junior racing CV. Alongside his FIA Formula 3 appearances this year, he is competing in Indy NXT, continuing a career path that has already taken him through several international single-seater environments.
Before his current programme, Escotto raced in America, Spanish and UAE Formula 4, building experience across different championships and competitive structures. He also spent two years in USF Pro 2000, adding another layer to a résumé shaped by regular movement between categories and regions.
That background underlines the nature of Escotto’s Spa opportunity: this is not the profile of a driver arriving from a single linear ladder, but one continuing to accumulate race mileage across a range of junior formulas. In Formula 3, where adaptation is often as important as outright speed, that variety is part of the story.

Escotto also made three appearances in Euroformula Open in 2024, further extending his single-seater experience before his current commitments. Now, his latest FIA Formula 3 outing with AIX Racing gives him another chance to add to his season sample after Barcelona and Silverstone.
Silverstone has already been a recurring point of reference across junior single-seater coverage this season, including F1 ACADEMY’s landmark Silverstone weekend, and Escotto’s own AIX Racing programme now moves on to Spa with a straightforward objective: convert familiarity into progress.
His best finish of P22 leaves a clear target for the weekend. For Escotto and AIX Racing, Round 6 is therefore less about headlines and more about execution — another opportunity to sharpen the partnership and establish a stronger competitive footing in FIA Formula 3.
