Cadillac JOTA names da Costa and Taylor for 2027 WEC line-up

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA will bring António Félix da Costa and Ricky Taylor into its six-driver line-up for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship, with Alex Lynn and Sébastien Bourdais set to leave after the current season.
The incoming pair will join Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber, Norman Nato and Will Stevens across the team’s two V-Series.R Hypercars. Cadillac confirmed the changes on October 15, 2026, ahead of Lynn’s return to competition at Barcelona this weekend after neck surgery kept him out of the opening six rounds.

Da Costa returns to JOTA for a new Cadillac challenge
Da Costa is already familiar with JOTA, having raced for the British outfit from 2019 to 2023. He won the FIA WEC title and the Le Mans 24 Hours in class with the team in 2022, initially competing in LMP2 before moving into Hypercar. He returned to endurance racing this season with Alpine and reached the podium at COTA in his most recent appearance.

The Portuguese driver also won the Formula E World Championship in 2019/20. His return to JOTA reunites him with a team where he previously enjoyed success, but the Cadillac role represents a fresh assignment. He will target wins and championships with the programme.

Taylor, a two-time IMSA title winner, also knows the team, having raced for it in Austin last month. The 37-year-old has recorded 32 victories and 76 podium finishes in North American sportscar racing. The 2027 campaign will be his first full-time season in an FIA World Championship.
Lynn and Bourdais leave after helping build the programme
Lynn has raced Cadillac machinery since 2023. His record with the marque includes four FIA WEC pole positions, with his Le Mans pole among the highlights, and a part in Cadillac’s first overall WEC victory, at Interlagos in 2025. Alongside Stevens and Nato, he was also part of the crew that secured the brand’s first overall Le Mans podium.

Bourdais has been part of Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA since the programme began and has contributed experience and technical knowledge, as well as multiple podium finishes over two seasons. Both drivers have two races remaining with the team this year.

The changes add to Cadillac’s activity across racing categories. F1LivePulse has also covered Cadillac’s technical leadership appointments in Formula 1 and its reserve-driver plans.
