Envision Racing will continue using Jaguar powertrains into Formula E’s Gen4 era, extending one of the championship’s most productive technical partnerships into its next major rules cycle.
The agreement ensures continuity for Envision, which has been a Jaguar customer team since the beginning of the Gen3 era. Next season will mark the fifth campaign of the relationship, giving both operations a stable platform as Formula E prepares for its next technological chapter.

Since joining forces, Envision and Jaguar have built a record that underlines why extending the deal was the logical move. The partnership has produced 58 podiums, 23 wins and 13 pole positions, with Envision’s teams’ title in Season 9 standing as the first major milestone of the collaboration.
In a championship where customer relationships can be complex, this one has become a benchmark. The combination has delivered competitive results while maintaining the technical consistency that teams value when entering a new era of car and powertrain development.

Envision team boss Sylvain Filippi described the renewal as a significant step for the team, pointing to the strength of the relationship built across the past four seasons.
“Continuing our relationship with Jaguar into the Gen4 era is an important step for Envision Racing,” said Filippi. “Over the past four seasons we’ve built a strong technical partnership founded on collaboration, innovation, and a shared ambition to compete at the highest level. Together we’ve celebrated race wins, podiums and a world championship each, and we believe there is more to come.”
Filippi also highlighted the scale of the next Formula E era, framing Gen4 as both a performance step and a continuation of the series’ sustainability focus.
“Gen4 represents an exciting new chapter for Formula E, bringing an unprecedented level of performance alongside the championship’s continued commitment to sustainability,” he added. “Having the confidence of a proven partner gives us a strong platform from which to fight at the front, and we’re excited to continue pushing the boundaries of electric racing together.”
From Jaguar’s side, retaining Envision as a customer operation preserves a relationship described as exceptional throughout Gen3. Team principal Ian James said Jaguar was pleased to continue the partnership as Formula E moves into its next phase.
“As we move into Gen4, Jaguar’s focus remains on providing a world-class powertrain and working closely with Envision to ensure both teams can compete at the very front of the grid,” said James.
For both parties, the message is clear: stability, proven performance and shared ambition will carry the partnership into Gen4.
