FIA Formula 3 confirms post-season tests at Jerez and Barcelona

The FIA Formula 3 Championship has confirmed two post-season tests to close out its 2026 track activity, with teams and drivers set to run at Jerez and Barcelona in October.
Each test will last two days. The first takes place at the Circuito de Jerez on October 20-21, before the paddock moves to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the final on-track sessions of the year on October 26-27.

Two venues, four days of running
The schedule gives teams and drivers four days of post-season action across two Spanish circuits. Jerez hosts the opening test, with Barcelona bringing the 2026 programme to a close less than a week later.
The championship has not announced further details about the format or running plan for either test. It has confirmed, however, that the sessions will be the teamsâ first opportunity to begin preparations for the 2027 campaign once the current seasonâs on-track activity is complete.

That transition into the next year is already taking shape across the category, with Rodin Motorsport, for example, confirming Pedro Clerot will remain with the team for a second FIA Formula 3 campaign in 2027. The post-season tests will provide the next scheduled on-track chapter as teams turn their attention forward.
How to follow the tests
Fans will be able to follow the action through the FIA Formula 3 website. Live blogs will provide updates during each day, while session reports and interviews will be published at the end of the dayâs running.
The championship also says its social media channels will offer behind-the-scenes coverage throughout each day of testing. That will give followers a way to track activity beyond the live updates and readouts, as the teams begin work towards 2027.
With two separate two-day events, the calendar provides a clear close to the 2026 seasonâs on-track schedule: Jerez first, then Barcelona. The final test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on October 26-27 will be the last scheduled on-track action for FIA Formula 3 teams and drivers in 2026.
