FIA Formula 2 is back on track immediately, with the all-new Madring circuit in Spain set to host Round 11 of the 2026 campaign. The Madrid venue represents one of the season’s biggest tests for teams and drivers, with the championship entering a decisive phase.
Nikola Tsolov arrives as the Drivers’ Championship leader, but Rafael Câmara continues to reduce the gap in second place. Câmara’s recent form has already made him one of the key names to watch, following his Formula 2 pole position at Monza. The Madring weekend could therefore have a significant impact on the title picture.
The opening session of the weekend is Practice, scheduled to begin at 11:05 local time on Friday. It will provide the first opportunity for the field to assess the new venue before the competitive sessions begin.
The grid-setting Qualifying session follows on Friday afternoon, with the action scheduled to get underway at 15:00 local time. With the starting order set to shape the Sprint Race and Feature Race, every lap will carry added importance.
