The Dutch racing superstar is officially set to compete in the second round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS2) on Saturday, March 21. Max Verstappen has long stated that racing in the legendary 24 Hours of Nürburgring is on his bucket list. After earning his Nordschleife permit and taking a victory in the NLS9 race late last year, Verstappen is stepping up his preparation.
For the NLS2 race, he will be driving a stunning Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo under the banner of Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing. He won't be tackling the four-hour endurance race alone; he's joined by a powerhouse lineup of GT racing veterans: Lucas Auer, Jules Gounon, and Dani Juncadella. This weekend's race serves as the ultimate test session ahead of the grueling 24-hour race scheduled for mid-May.
