Verstappen vs Rossi: which cars should you follow?
Verstappen's GT3 return at Portimão puts him aboard the #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, sharing with Ben Barnicoat and Chris Lulham.
Rossi drives Team WRT's #46 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, alongside Max Hesse and Neil Verhagen. Both entries compete in the Pro class, making this a contest for the same overall victory.

With more than 60 GT3 cars expected, their crews must negotiate traffic, pit stops and changing conditions as the race runs towards sunset. Driver changes mean Verstappen and Rossi will not necessarily be behind the wheel simultaneously throughout the contest.

Why is the race on Saturday?
The finale was moved to Saturday evening because of the WEC calendar clash, giving teams and personnel a better chance to manage commitments across both events.
For viewers, that makes Saturday evening the appointment to keep: Verstappen's Mercedes against Rossi's BMW, surrounded by some of GT racing's strongest professional crews.
