Paysafe will become the new title partner of Envision Racing as Formula E prepares to enter its all-new GEN4 era, creating the Paysafe Envision Racing team identity.
The partnership is designed to bring motorsport, gaming and digital payments together in a connected fan ecosystem. Both companies say the aim is to develop a more engaging and rewarding way for supporters to interact with the championship, with sustainability also central to the project.

Bruce Lowthers, Paysafe’s CEO, said Envision Racing offers the company a platform to reach an audience positioned at the intersection of sport, gaming and technology.
“This partnership will build something fans haven’t seen before; one ecosystem where racing, gaming and rewards come together,” Lowthers said. He added that Skrill, PaysafeCard, PaysafeWallet and PagoEfectivo would become part of how a new generation of fans engages with the sport.
Franz Jung, CEO and chairman of the board of Envision Racing and vice-president of Envision Energy, described Paysafe as a global brand and said the team was excited to see how the two businesses could develop the project together.
“We’re incredibly proud of our achievements on and off track and we know that Paysafe will be supporting us in the next evolution as we enter GEN4,” Jung said.
The announcement comes one day after Envision Racing confirmed it would part ways with its current driver line-up, Sébastien Buemi and Joel Eriksson, at the end of the season. Buemi is set to remain with the team in an advisory and development role.
Before the 2026 Hankook London E-Prix, Envision Racing sits seventh in the Teams’ Championship with 130 points. The season-ending double-header will be held at London’s ExCeL on 15 and 16 August, with nine drivers still in mathematical contention for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The races will close the GEN3 era before the team begins its next phase under the Paysafe Envision Racing name.
