Reza Seewooruthun to step up to FIA Formula 3 with Rodin in 2027
Reza Seewooruthun will make the step to FIA Formula 3 with Rodin Motorsport in 2027, continuing a relationship that began in the Formula Regional European Championship (FREC). The team confirmed the move, which will take the 20-year-old Briton into the next category after his current campaign with Rodin.
Seewooruthun has recorded two podiums in FREC so far this season, milestones that underpin his progression to the FIA F3 grid. Rodinâs other preparations for 2027 include Pedro Clerotâs confirmed return to the team.
A steady climb through the junior ranks
Seewooruthun graduated from karting in 2022 and made his full-time debut in the Ginetta Junior Championship the following year. In 2024, he finished fourth in the British F4 Championship while also competing in UAE F4 and the Euro 4 Championship.
He moved into GB3 in 2025, ending the season fifth in the standings. His subsequent move to FREC brought him into the Rodin fold, and the two podiums secured so far this year have helped mark the next step in a progression that now leads to FIA F3.
Seewooruthun and Rodin look ahead
Seewooruthun said he was proud to remain with Rodin for the move, describing the team as one he trusts. He also made clear that his attention remains on the work required before the new season begins.

Rodin Sporting Director Benn Huntingford pointed to the pace Seewooruthun has shown in FREC and the importance of his two podiums. He said the team was looking forward to building on that experience as the driver steps up.

The 2027 campaign will be Seewooruthunâs next opportunity to continue that development, now in FIA Formula 3 and still with Rodin Motorsport.
