AIX Racing have confirmed that Salim Hanna will return to the team for Round 7 in Budapest, giving the Colombian driver another opportunity to compete in Formula 3 this season.
Hanna previously raced for AIX at Round 4 in Spielberg, where he finished 26th in the Sprint and 19th in the Feature Race. His return in Budapest will therefore mark his second appearance for the team in the championship, as he steps back into the Formula 3 car this weekend.

The announcement comes during a busy period in Hannaâs development. The Colombian is currently contesting his rookie season in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he sits sixth in the standings after recording three podium finishes.
Hannaâs Budapest outing adds another layer to a campaign that has already included experience across several single-seater categories. Before his current Formula Regional programme, he competed in the 2024 Italian, British and UAE Formula 4 championships.

That background, combined with his three podiums in Formula Regional competition, provides the context for his return to the higher Formula 3 level. However, the immediate focus will be on making the most of another race weekend with AIX Racing after his previous appearance in Spielberg.
The latest Formula 3 event at Spa-Francorchamps underlined the intensity of the category, with Ernesto Rivera delivering a calculated charge to win the F3 Feature Race. Budapest now presents Hanna with the next chance to measure himself against that competitive field.
For AIX Racing, the confirmation provides continuity after Hannaâs earlier outing. For the driver, it is another chance to build experience in Formula 3 while continuing his rookie Formula Regional European Championship campaign.
Hanna will now return to the AIX car in Budapest, with his previous Spielberg results and current sixth place in the Formula Regional standings forming the backdrop to his second Formula 3 appearance of the season.
