Williams has officially announced a "landmark" collaboration that brings the high-speed world of Formula 1 face-to-face with some of the biggest characters from the Marvel film universe. In an unprecedented crossover, iconic figures such as Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow will join forces with Williams drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, alongside team boss James Vowles. Their mission? To battle the infamous Doctor Doom in a high-stakes bid to "save the racing season."
This unique comic book one-shot is set to launch at June's Monaco Grand Prix. However, fans eager to secure their copy can place pre-orders starting at this weekend's Miami GP. The collaboration will also feature special event-exclusive covers available at several marquee races, including the British, Spanish (Madrid), Singapore, Austin, and Las Vegas Grands Prix.

The narrative of the comic is set "in the midst of the racing season," promising an action-packed storyline where a "host of other Marvel stars" will also join the fight against Doctor Doom.

"Alex and Carlos are already heroes to our millions of fans, and now they get to prove it in print by uniting with the Marvel Super Heroes to save racing from Doctor Doom," explained Luke Timmins, Williams' director of merchandise and licensing.
Timmins emphasized the significance of merging these two massive cultural phenomenons. "We are proud to be bringing these two universes together for the first time, and hope it gives fans another way to find and fall in love with our iconic Williams F1 Team."
The timing and location of the announcement are no coincidence. The setting of the Miami Grand Prix provides the perfect backdrop for such a high-profile reveal.

"There is no better place than Miami to launch a unique collaboration like this, and with special edition covers for races around the world the story is only just beginning," Timmins added.
As the racing season continues, this Marvel partnership adds an exciting new dimension to the Williams brand, offering fans a creative and thrilling way to engage with their favorite drivers and team personnel off the track.
