Abbi Pulling is back on the GB3 podium â and she had to fight for it.
The Rodin Motorsport driver secured P3 in Race 1 at Donington Park on Saturday, claiming her second podium of the 2026 GB3 season.
Pulling started the opening race from fourth after qualifying P4 in Q1, with less than six-tenths of a second separating her from pole-sitter Nikita Bedrin.
The race was far from straightforward. Pulling found herself in a tight battle with her Rodin teammate Maxim Rehm during the early laps, with the opening lap described as particularly combative. Rehm's challenge ultimately came to an end on lap seven when he spun at the Melbourne Hairpin while battling Pulling, forcing him into the pits.
That left Pulling in a strong third, which she held to the chequered flag behind race winner Deagen Fairclough and championship leader Nikita Bedrin.
Fairclough and Bedrin spent much of the 19-lap race fighting for the win, with Fairclough eventually holding on by just 0.317 seconds. Pulling crossed the line 6.258 seconds behind the winner to secure her second podium of the season.
It's another encouraging result for Pulling, who is continuing her second season in GB3 after winning the 2024 F1 Academy title.
Sunday brought a more difficult result. Pulling finished P9 in Race 2 after starting from 10th, meaning she'll be hoping for a stronger final race of the weekend when the GB3 field returns to the track this afternoon.
Race 3 gets underway at 4:25pm BST at Donington Park.
