Ferrari names 2027 academy line-up as Camara and Beganovic graduate

Ferrari has confirmed Rafael Camara and Dino Beganovic are leaving its driver academy, while revealing an eight-driver roster across the junior categories for 2027.
Camara will step up to Formula 1 with Haas next year. Beganovic, by contrast, remains with Ferrari as a development and reserve driver, sharing those responsibilities with Antonio Giovinazzi. His new role follows a run in Formula 2, including a Feature Race victory at Madring.

The academy’s eight drivers will compete across karting, Formula 4, Formula Regional, Formula 3, Formula 2 and F1 Academy. Three new names join the programme: Turkish driver Alp Aksoy, Colombian Salim Hanna and Dutchman Daniel Miron.
Ferrari’s new recruits move into different categories
Miron, aged 13, will step up to the OK karting class after finishing runner-up in the European FIA Championship’s OK-Junior category in 2026. Noah Baglin and Filippo Sala will move from karting into Spanish Formula 4. Baglin arrives as European OK champion and Junior World champion, while Sala’s performances came in the European Championship and Champions of the Future series.
Aksoy heads to the European Formula Regional Championship after a rookie single-seater campaign that included three wins across Italian F4 and Euro4. Hanna will contest a full Formula 3 season after winning at Imola in Formula Regional this year. He will be joined by Niccolò Maccagnani, who moves up from F4 after victories at Misano and Mugello.

Taponen steps up to Formula 2 with ART
Alba Larsen will return to F1 Academy for a second season, having taken back-to-back podiums at Zandvoort in her debut campaign. Tuukka Taponen completes the line-up with a move to Formula 2 and ART Grand Prix, the team he raced for in his first F3 season in 2025.
Taponen finished third in this year’s F3 standings, recording a win and two further podiums. Camara’s move to Haas is another significant change for the Ferrari-linked junior group; Haas has previously been linked with Ferrari in coverage of its 2027 driver plans.
The new roster spans the full pathway from karting to F2 and F1 Academy, while Beganovic’s continued presence gives Ferrari a development and reserve option beyond the academy.
