Mercedes to run a blue-look livery at the United States Grand Prix
Mercedes will replace the usual silver sections of its car with blue for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.

Mercedes will run a blue-look livery at the United States Grand Prix, changing the appearance of its car for this weekend’s race at the Circuit of the Americas. The adjustment affects areas that are normally silver, giving the team a different look from its usual colours.
The design is being developed in collaboration with MANUFAKTUR, Mercedes-Benz’s luxury individualisation and customisation programme, which is also offered across Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach vehicles.
Blue replaces the car’s usual silver sections
The change centres on the parts of the car that typically carry silver. Those areas will instead be finished in blue for the Austin event, while the source of the revised look is the team’s collaboration with MANUFAKTUR.

It is a distinct change from Mercedes’ regular presentation, but the information available about the design is specific: the normally silver sections are the ones switching to blue. No further details about the shade or the precise layout of the livery have been provided.
The team’s Austin appearance adds to the livery coverage surrounding the event. See our report on Cadillac’s Texas-inspired United States Grand Prix livery for another design story linked to the race weekend.
Mercedes recently made another colour adjustment
The blue treatment follows a change made two rounds ago, when Mercedes marked its partnership with Petronas by swapping the positions of the sponsor’s teal accents and the silver normally found across the top of the car, including the nose.
For Austin, the visual shift is different: the sections that are usually silver will be blue. That gives the latest livery update a clear contrast with both the team’s standard look and the earlier Petronas-related alteration, without changing the basic focus of the announcement.
The livery will be on the car at the Circuit of the Americas this weekend. For more event coverage, read our United States Grand Prix tyre preview.
