Susie Wolff’s book makes history with triple award nomination

A triple nomination for Susie Wolff

Susie Wolff, the Managing Director of F1 ACADEMY, has achieved a significant milestone in the literary world. Her 2026 autobiography, Driven, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards, marking the first time a book has secured nominations in three distinct categories.

A story of resilience and transformation

Driven chronicles Wolff’s journey from her early days in karting to the competitive environment of the Formula 1 paddock. The narrative highlights the resilience required to navigate a professional landscape that was not originally designed for her. Beyond her personal history, the book details her ongoing mission to reshape the future of motorsport through the F1 ACADEMY.

The book’s recognition across multiple formats underscores the broad appeal of her story. Driven has been shortlisted for:

• Charles Tyrwhitt Autobiography of the Year
• Motorsports Book of the Year
• Sports Audiobook of the Year

Celebrating sporting narratives

The Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards serve as a premier platform for celebrating the best in sports literature, bringing together athletes, authors, publishers, and media to honor the narratives that define the sporting world.

Reflecting on the achievement, Wolff expressed her gratitude: “A huge thank you to everyone at the Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards for nominating Driven in three major categories, including the inaugural Motorsport Book of the Year. It’s a real honour - especially having written it alongside my brother.”

The Charles Tyrwhitt Autobiography of the Year and the Sports Entertainment Book of the Year will be determined by a public vote, which is currently open. All other categories will be decided by an expert judging panel comprised of voices from across the sports and media industries.
