Gabriel Gomez will step up to FIA Formula 3 in 2027 after being confirmed as LN4 Fusion’s second driver for the team’s debut campaign in the championship. The Brazilian moves up after a season in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he finished 14th overall in 2026.

The announcement adds another name to LN4 Fusion’s growing F3 line-up. The team has also confirmed James Egozi for next season in a separate driver announcement, following its plans to enter the grid in 2027.

Gomez arrives in F3 after a varied junior record

Gomez began racing single-seaters in Spanish F4 in 2023 and contested a full season in the championship the following year. His strongest results came in 2025, when he won the Formula Winter Series and finished runner-up in both the Italian and E4 Championships.

Across those latter two campaigns, he recorded six wins and 16 podium finishes. In the Formula Winter Series, he took three victories and nine podiums on the way to the title. He then spent 2026 in the Formula Regional European Championship before making the next step to F3.

Gomez said he was pleased to have the opportunity and keen to begin working with the team ahead of the new season. He thanked LN4 Fusion, his sponsors and those who helped make the move possible, and said he was confident the group could achieve strong results together.

LN4 Fusion looks to build towards its first F3 season

LN4 Fusion chief executive Dan Richards said the team had been impressed by Gomez’s potential and record so far. Richards described the prospect of working together as an exciting challenge and said preparations would begin as soon as possible, with the aim of getting the most from the season.

The 2027 entry marks a new stage for LN4 Fusion, which has outlined its plans to join the championship in a previous announcement. Gomez’s promotion gives the team a driver with experience across several junior categories as it prepares for its first Formula 3 campaign.
