James Egozi joins LN4 Fusion for 2027 Formula 3 season

James Egozi will step up to Formula 3 in 2027 after being named the first driver signed by LN4 Fusion for its upcoming campaign. The American’s move follows a standout season in Eurocup-3, where he claimed the championship with two rounds still to run.
Egozi joins the newly formed LN4 Fusion team after establishing himself as one of Eurocup-3’s leading performers in 2026. His results provide a strong platform for the next stage of his career, as he prepares to compete in a higher-level single-seater championship.

Egozi built momentum from winter to title success
The driver began the year with second place in the Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship. He then carried that form into the main Eurocup-3 campaign, winning the title before the final two rounds had been contested.
Across the season, Egozi recorded eight victories and 12 podium finishes. Those results made for a decisive championship run and drew praise from LN4 Fusion chief executive Dan Richards, who described the American as a promising prospect and highlighted his breakthrough performance.

Richards said the team was delighted to bring Egozi aboard, adding that it aims to build on his results as it establishes itself in Formula 3. The signing gives LN4 Fusion its first confirmed driver for 2027, while Egozi gains a seat for his graduation from Eurocup-3.
The American is ready for the Formula 3 step
Egozi welcomed the chance to join what he called an exciting project. He said he was grateful for the opportunity and intends to keep developing as a driver, with his focus already on the 2027 season.
The move represents a clear progression after a year that delivered both a winter-series runner-up finish and a Eurocup-3 title. LN4 Fusion will now build its 2027 line-up around its first announced signing as it prepares to enter the championship. The team’s Formula 3 plans for 2027 provide the setting for Egozi’s next step, with his title-winning form now set to be tested in the category.
For Egozi, the challenge is to carry his success into a new championship. For LN4 Fusion, his signing marks the first driver announcement for its Formula 3 campaign.
