LN4 Fusion secures place on 2027 Formula 2 grid
Lando Norris’ LN4 Fusion will join the 2027 Formula 2 field, taking over AIX Racing’s entry as the championship confirms 11 teams.

Lando Norris’ LN4 Fusion will compete in Formula 2 in 2027, after the championship confirmed the 11 teams set to contest the series next season. The team will take over the entry previously held by AIX Racing, with no additional entrants announced for the new cycle.
The move extends LN4 Fusion’s reach beyond Formula 3, where its participation had already been confirmed. Norris announced the team earlier this year after acquiring selected assets from AIX Racing, establishing a project aimed at competing across junior categories. F1LivePulse previously reported on LN4 Fusion’s formation and driver programme, as well as its application for a Formula 2 entry.

LN4 Fusion takes AIX Racing’s place on the grid
The 2027-2029 team cycle will retain 10 of the current outfits, with LN4 Fusion occupying the remaining place through the transfer of AIX Racing’s entry. The championship did not confirm any other new entries.
F2 chief executive Bruno Michel said the series had attracted strong interest from teams internationally. He also noted that the 10 returning teams had shown sustained commitment to preparing young drivers for Formula 1, and welcomed LN4 Fusion’s addition, citing the expertise it could bring to the championship.
LN4 Fusion will compete under an Italian licence. Its two-driver F2 line-up has not yet been announced, leaving one key detail of the team’s debut campaign unresolved.
Three drivers named for LN4 Fusion’s F3 campaign
The team has already confirmed its Formula 3 drivers: James Egozi, Gabriel Gomez and Dion Gowda. Their appointments complete LN4 Fusion’s announced F3 line-up, while the F2 seats remain open.
