Callum Voisin targets Formula E title with Andretti
Callum Voisin reveals his Andretti simulator work began before his development role became official, as he targets a future Formula E seat and world title.

Callum Voisin sees Formula E as a route towards his ambition of becoming a world champion, with his new Andretti development role formalising work that began earlier in 2026.
In an interview with RacingNews365, Voisin explained that he started helping the team with simulator preparation around a month after its Madrid rookie test in March. He had not known whether those duties would become a lasting position.
The appointment confirms a development role, rather than a race seat, as Andretti prepares for the 2026/27 Gen4 season.

Simulator work preceded the announcement
Voisin said his early responsibilities involved pre-event set-up work and supporting Jake Dennis and Felipe Drugovich in the driver-in-the-loop simulator. Official confirmation of his position therefore brought clarity to an existing relationship.
Andretti’s announcement on 29 October places simulator work and race preparation at the centre of his duties. Team principal Campbell Hobson said that contribution would support the engineers and both race drivers as they build their understanding of Gen4.
Dennis and Drugovich remain Andretti’s race pairing, as detailed in our overview of the confirmed Formula E Gen4 line-ups.

A world title remains the longer-term goal
Voisin made his ambition clear to RacingNews365: “My goal in motorsport is to become a world champion.”
He identified Formula E as a championship in which he could pursue that target, while acknowledging the difficulty of reaching the grid without a conventional feeder-series ladder. He also expects Gen4 to demand more physically from its drivers.

The British-Swiss racer arrives with a varied record. He won the 2023 GB3 championship and a Formula 3 feature race at Spa in 2024, before taking the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup GB title with Rosland Gold by Century Motorsport. That campaign produced nine victories and the championship with two races remaining.
His next task is to turn that experience into useful preparation for Andretti. The wider field is also approaching its next major milestone, with Gen4 pre-season testing at Jarama scheduled for 16–20 November.
