Monza finale to decide three WEC titles as Toyota duel looms
Toyota’s Hypercar crews head to Monza fighting for the drivers’ title, while the finale will also settle the Hypercar manufacturers’ runner-up spot and LMGT3 crown.

The 6 Hours of Monza will settle three of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s four titles when the season concludes in Italy on 6–8 November. Toyota has already secured the Hypercar manufacturers’ crown, but its drivers’ championship remains undecided, with battles also set to shape the Hypercar manufacturers’ runner-up position and the LMGT3 standings.
Toyota’s two crews will fight for the drivers’ crown
Toyota’s #8 crew of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryō Hirawaka will face the #7 trio of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Nyck de Vries in an all-team contest for the Hypercar drivers’ title. The source article reports that the two line-ups are set for a direct fight, with no team orders promised.
The race will also mark Conway’s final professional outing. The British driver, already a two-time world champion in endurance racing, is set to retire after Monza. Toyota’s manufacturers’ title was secured at the previous round in Barcelona, a result covered in our report on Toyota’s Barcelona crown.

BMW, Ferrari and Cadillac chase second in Hypercar
While Toyota’s manufacturers’ championship is settled, BMW, defending champion Ferrari and Cadillac remain in contention for second place in the standings. The Monza entry list sets up a final-round contest among the three marques.
Toyota’s wider campaign has featured earlier battles too, including the Fuji 6 Hours, before the championship reaches its final event.
Four LMGT3 crews arrive with title hopes
LMGT3 brings four crews from three manufacturers into the finale. Corvette holds the strongest position: the #33 TF Sport entry leads, while the sister #34 Racing Team Turkey by TF Z06 crew sits third. Porsche and BMW remain in pursuit.
Manthey’s #92 The Bend Porsche 911 GT3 R narrowed the gap with victory in Spain just over a week before Monza. Team WRT’s #69 BMW M4 Evo, meanwhile, needs a perfect weekend and trouble for its rivals to produce a late title upset.
With three championships still to be decided, the season’s final six-hour race will carry consequences across both Hypercar and LMGT3.
