Dion Gowda completes LN4 Fusion’s 2027 F3 lineup

Dion Gowda will join LN4 Fusion for the 2027 FIA Formula 3 season, completing the team’s driver lineup. The Indian driver is set to race alongside James Egozi and Gabriel Gomez, who have already been announced for the campaign. Read more about Egozi’s move to LN4 Fusion and Gomez’s signing.

The team’s final seat goes to a driver whose single-seater career began in 2023. Gowda finished fourth in the British F4 Championship that year, taking four wins and six podiums.

Gowda steps up after two Formula Regional seasons

Gowda has most recently competed for two seasons in the Formula Regional European Championship, where he recorded points finishes in both campaigns. LN4 Fusion chief executive Dan Richards said Gowda had shown encouraging speed in Formula Regional this season and had regularly run inside the top 10.

Richards also said the team sees scope for Gowda to develop further as a competitor, and praised him as a person to work with. The team is looking forward to beginning the partnership, he added.

The signing marks the next step in Gowda’s progression through single-seater racing. His fourth-place British F4 finish came in his first year in the category, before he moved on to Formula Regional for the following two campaigns.

Gowda said joining the team for FIA F3 was a dream come true and expressed gratitude for the opportunity. He also highlighted the people at LN4 Fusion and said he was eager to get started.

The team’s 2027 lineup now comprises Gowda, Egozi and Gomez. LN4 Fusion’s entry into the championship was previously announced as part of its expansion into Formula 3; read more about the team’s arrival on the F3 grid.

Gowda’s move brings his two-year spell in Formula Regional to a close and places him on the Formula 3 grid for the upcoming season. LN4 Fusion will begin that campaign with its full driver roster confirmed.
