McLaren has extended its recent development push with further MCL40 upgrades for Zandvoort, following the package introduced at the Hungaroring. Those earlier changes helped Lando Norris secure his first victory of the season, and the British driver arrives at the Dutch Grand Prix targeting a second win.
The latest McLaren changes include a new rear wing assembly, a revised engine cover and an updated rear brake duct. The stated objectives are improved load performance and flow conditioning, alongside better brake cooling at the rear corner. The team’s Zandvoort plans were also outlined in McLaren brings rear wing and brake duct upgrades to the Dutch Grand Prix.

Ferrari has maintained its frenetic pace in the upgrade battle, with five new parts listed in the official FIA disclosures for the SF-26.
The Scuderia has revised the floor body, floor board and floor edge, with all three changes intended to increase aerodynamic load around Zandvoort’s tight and twisty layout. Ferrari has also introduced an altered diffuser and beam wing, again pursuing greater load while placing emphasis on flow quality at the rear of the car.

Mercedes and Red Bull have each brought one update. Mercedes has detached the lip of the front drum from the duct inlet, a change aimed at improving flow quality across the full range of steering and aiding airflow towards the rear of the car.
Red Bull’s revision is focused on reliability at the front corner. The lower wishbone rearward leg chord in the wheel bodywork assembly has been reduced to lower strain at high steering angles.
Williams, Racing Bulls, Haas, Audi and Cadillac have opted against visible upgrades in the Netherlands. Aston Martin and Alpine are the only teams from the bottom half of the grid to introduce listed changes.
Aston Martin brings five upgrades across two areas of the AMR26, in addition to its Honda power unit update. The package includes a new front wing with a revised endplate and optional flap, plus a new floor fence on the diffuser and a modification to the lower edge of the diffuser winglet. Each change is aimed at improving aerodynamic load performance.
Alpine has submitted eight changes, covering the floor body, floor board, floor edge, diffuser, sidepod, engine cover, rear corner, rear impact structure and rear wing. The updates target aerodynamic load performance or flow conditioning. Pierre Gasly will have the new parts at Zandvoort, while Franco Colapinto is scheduled to receive them from Monza.
